Current Conditions: Track for Tropical Storm Laura has moved west. At this time there is a reduced threat to South Florida. However, tropical storm force winds extend up to 205 miles from the center. Rain and possible tropical force winds possible for Sunday night and through Monday.
Instructions: Operable discharge control structures should remain closed.
Any authorization to open internal discharge control structures will be given to a community on an individual basis.
After severe rainfall, check storm drainage & clear any blockages.
Continue to monitor the situation through television, radio, and the internet.

Current Conditions: Tropical Storm 13 continues to develop. As of this moment there is no certainty of the track of the storm with regards to South Florida or its further development. Tropical force winds and rain are forecast for Sunday night and through Monday.
Instructions: Operable discharge control structures should remain closed.
Any authorization to open internal discharge control structures will be given to a community on an individual basis.
Check storm drainage & clear any blockage.
Continue to monitor the situation through television, radio, and the internet.

Expect low lying areas like streets, sidewalks, and swales to act as secondary detention area for storm water.
