Work will include a variety of tasks associated with vegetation maintenance along the District’s canal banks, including tree removal and trimming, handwork and the operation of construction equipment, including mini-excavators, mini-skid steers and similar equipment. Tree clearing or lawn care maintenance experience is helpful but not required. A high school diploma and valid Florida driver’s license are required. - Project Surveyor
Lake Worth Drainage District is seeking a Surveyor for an intermediate level position with land surveying and mapping experience to support the District’s Right of Way program. Duties include the review of land title and survey documents such as plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, special purpose surveys, and sketch and legal descriptions; the preparation of various surveying documents; direct interaction with residents, community associations, real estate and title professionals, governmental agencies and professional consultants regarding the District’s policies as they relate to survey and right-of-way data. The position requires both field and office work. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Right of Way Interest Supervisor. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
